Back to the Disney Magic, Port Canaveral, Florida

We had a bit of a delay from Dry Dock renovations, so we spent about a week in Port Canaveral, before heading to Miami for the rest of our contract.
The Disney Fantasy was also in port on their regularly scheduled itinerary.
It is the same size as the Disney Dream (the ship from my first contract), but a year newer.
Our friend Jemma was working on the Fantasy at that time, so Frankie and I were able to say hello! The three of us did the Dream 1 contract together.
It was really lovely to see her, since I didn't get the chance in her home country of England, because she was on the ship!
Below, is the Disney Magic on the left and the Disney Fantasy on the right!
One of the nights in Port Canaveral, a local bar, had a Ladies Night.

We took a few trips to the Target and the mall, which was nice. Here is myself, Julia and Kristine in a Meritt Island cab.
Below is Pete, my dance partner and very good friend, screaming out of terror to get back on the ship. He is full of sound effects!

For part of the time in Port Canaveral they were renovating our crew dining hall so we ate in the guest eating area, Cabbanas. It is on Deck 14 aft, which is in the back of the ship and has a lovely view!

Boo! It's Halloween on the Disney Magic!

Here are the characters in their Halloween costumes!
Dale is a robber and Chip is a cop!
Minnie is a witch and Mickey is a vampire!

Donald is a superhero!

He's always playing games with me! Silly duck!

Pluto is a candy corn!
Goofy is a mummy!
Goofy is full of funny business too!

Here is my Halloween costume for the crew party we had! I was a young lady version of Ursula!

Dublin, Ireland

How could I forget Dublin!?

In the middle of the summer, I took a vacation off the ship for Debra's wedding (my best friend from high school).
The flight I took from Barcelona to Boston had a 14 hour layover in Dublin, Ireland. Boy did I luck out, because Kelly-Marie was still kicking around this lovely city! She picked me up from the airport and showed me around town!
I got in late at night so we went to sleep first, but in the morning she took for some sight seeing!

Here is her local mall, let the sunshine in!
Below is Kelly-Marie outside a famous theater!

Then we walked around the streets that had more shopping.
A casual photo in front of the Disney Store,of course

Here is Trinity College, a "total landmark" as Kelly-Marie calls it. Many movies were filmed here.

We lucked out with a gorgeous day!

The Irish are known for their beer drinking, so naturally they had lots of bars around and all very colorful!

Next stop was the Ha'Penny Bridge! It used to be 1/2 a penny to cross the bridge!

Our trip was far too short, but I was lucky enough to see my little Irish gal at all!
