We left Toronto on Thursday May 16th and arrived in Houston Texas! The two photos below are me, Janelle, Jenn and Trego riding the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. It was like a mini roller coaster ride.
It was really nice being back in the states, especially for cell phone service. I was also able to rent a car and go shopping around Texas.
The hotel had great food, large portions of coarse, and extremely soft beds. We had great weather there, which was nice coming from cold Toronto. Below is the pool at the hotel. It was a great getaway before heading to the ship.
We also had our Disney history training at the hotel in Texas, they call it "Traditions". It is for all new hires to the company, and for those who have not worked for the company for over a year, ie..me. It wasn't too bad taking the class over again, because we get to meet other new people from different departments that are new hires. I like making new friends.
After two days in Texas we were headed to Galveston, Texas to board the Disney Magic!
