Greece is amazing! My parents
took a full tour of the sites in Athens while I stayed on the ship to rest. I
got off with them in Mykonos, which is still my favorite port. I was thrilled
to show my parents this stunning place. We ate a delicious breakfast right on
the water. After that, my Dad rented a moped for the day to explore the town on
his own, while my Mom and I shopped. Later we took a bus to Super Paradise, the
same beach I went to the first time we came here. My Dad met us there for a bit
then went back to exploring on the moped. He said he had the best day on his
adventure and my Mom and I got to get a nice day on the beach. I hope to come
back here someday.

Ephesus, Turkey
Kusadasi, Turkey was the next
stop for Mom and Dad. First, we took a private tour to Ephesus. Ephesus is a
very historical town that was ruled by Rome, but is now an abandoned city.
Vatican City
Civitavecchia is our next
port and my Mom, Dad, Ali and her parents and I took the train towards Rome,
but stopped at Vatican City. We joined a tour to see all three attractions
there. It was a very thorough tour that took three and a half hours. Our tour
guide was full of information and was full of information and was entertaining
as well. The first attraction is the Vatican Museum. It was full of beautiful
statues, sculptures and courtyards. Most of the photos here are taken at the
museum. After the museum we finally made our way to the Sisteen Chapel. It is
not permitted to take photos there, so unfortunately I don’t have any. I just
thought it was so incredible to be inside such a historical place. It seems
like thy only use natural light inside because it was a bit dark. No is allowed
to speak inside so the atmosphere is peaceful. I feel so lucky to have stepped
foot there and to share that experience with my parents. The St. Peter’s
Basilica was gorgeous as well. The photos speak for themselves. My Mom was so
happy we visited the Vatican City, honoring her Catholic upbringing. We didn’t
have time to go to Rome, maybe next time.
