Nice, France

Just a short train ride from Villefranche is the city of Nice. Nice has lots shopping, so Janelle and I took the day to look at their stores and we stumbled upon a mall that had some lovely stores. The elevators were cool; they look like the cylinders that they use at the bank drive thru. I thought the city was really cute and I am so fascinated by the architecture of the buildings there. At this point of my trip, I would love to try living just about anywhere in Europe.

Mykonos, Greece

I know have a named a few ports as my favorite, but this really is my favorite. I think Greece in general is so clean and beautiful! The architecture and coloring of the buildings and houses is so unique.  The island is a great place to port in because the town has so much to offer. There are a ton of restaurants and shops with a very charming atmosphere. A few of my friends and I took a bus ride to the “party beach” they called it; it’s proper name is Super Paradise. It was stunning! The water, the sand, the colors, the views… I could go on. I felt like I was in heaven. This is where I had my first swim in the Mediterranean Sea.

Kusadasi, Turkey

Turkey had amazing shopping! The Grand Bazaar was a shopping market with shoes, bags, scarves and many more goodies. I really enjoyed it because everything was so unique. The people were friendly because they all really want your business. Bargaining is very common there. I was able to buy some cute new wedge sandals for pretty cheap. The beaches were also picturesque; I was able to step into the waters there as well. I can’t wait to go back to Turkey!

Athens, Greece

Opa! Welcome to Greece! We port in a town called Piraeus and it was adorable. Athens was not too far away so two car loads of us took cabs there, heading to the Acropolis. I really enjoyed my day in Athens! The Acropolis was a wonderful place! It was very clean and a great spot for tourists. The history was so mesmerizing! I felt so lucky to be able to stand on this ancient land.
