We all finally had the
morning off and I was able to take the trip to Rome. It is just over an hour
train ride from Civitavecchia. I went with my friend Carissa from the cast. We
first stopped at the Colosseum and it was grand! The entire city was so
historical and as grand as they make it out to be in Vegas, except the real
thing is incredible. I was fascinated by the ruins you find at random corners. The
buildings are so grand and bright, it really makes you feel so small. Not far
from the Colosseum is the Fontana di Trevi, which is one of the most famous
fountains in the world and it was gorgeous! Rome was beautiful city, I hope to
explore more of it!
