Ciao! The day we first
arrived in La Spezia it became my favorite port so far! We also take a tender
boat ride to shore in this port. As soon as you get off the tender boat it
feels like downtown Cape Cod. It has a quaint feel with its stone walkway and little
ice cream shops. Green grass and trees surround you as you walk through a
beautiful park on your way into to town. In town, the shops are endless. There
are all kinds of stores for shopping; from cheap to expensive. This is where La
Spezia reminds me of Walnut Street in Philadelphia. This is another deadly port
for my bank account. Other places to travel to in this port are Cinque Terre,
Pisa, famous for the leaning tower, and Florence.
